“Healthy Moong Daal stuffed parathas” Yes, you read it right, Healthy Paranthas might sound like an oxymoron, but these are cooked sans ghee/oil ๐Ÿ˜„
Here’s the recipe if you wish to try โค๏ธ
Take 1 cup of whole wheat flour and knead to a soft and smooth dough. Cover it and let it rest for some time.
Take 1/2 cup Moong daal, wash and parboil it with salt, turmeric powder with minimum water for 3-4 minutes.Do not overcook it, else it will turn to normal daal. Once, this is done add fresh corriander leaves, corriander powder, garam marsala , red chilli powder and chopped green chillies. Now, divide your dough into equal size balls, take one ball roll it using a rolling pin, add the daal mixture filling and close the edges properly. Roll it into a form of paratha. Cook on Tawa on both sides properly. You can apply ghee/butter on top before serving .Enjoy with curd, achar & green chutney!!
