Broken Wheat popularly known as Dalia or Bulgur wheat is a cereal and forms a staple diet for many people in India. It’s an Indian super food which is easily digestible, has low glycemic index and has very low calories. Besides, it’s an excellent source of fibre containing wheat bran and wheat germ!
Sharing a quick recipe here 😊💕 Dry roast 1 cup of broken wheat in a pan for around 10 min on slow flame. Add little ghee and then again roast it till it becomes little brown. Add little water sufficient enough to cook daliya so that it becomes soft. Now add milk and keep stirring it till it’s properly cooked. After that add jaggery powder or sugar as per your taste. You can use dates syrup as well. Add dry fruits, cardamom powder and toppings of your choice. Serve it hot and enjoy!
