Moong daal wadiyan ( Mangodi) with potatoes& peas . A simple and delicious curry that you can make without spending much time in the kitchen! I have used “Moong daal” wadis here. Yellow Moong daal is soaked, grinded and made into small balls , dried under sun and very meticulously sent by my Mom ๐Ÿ˜Š If you don’t want to make them at home, they are readily available in market as well. Since, it’s a no onion and garlic recipe , I would like to contribute it to by blenditlikelata.

Sharing the recipe here, if you wish to try.โ™ฅ๏ธ Take 2 big tomatoes and grind it into a smooth paste. Chop 2 potatoes in medium size and take 1/2 cup peas. In a pressure cooker, add little oil and roast few wadis for about 5 min. Take out the wadis and add tomato paste and let it cook for about 10 min on high flame. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and corriander powder. Now, add potatoes, roasted wadiyan, peas and water (based on the kind of desirable consistency) Pressure cook at low heat for 15 min. Garnish it with corriander leaves! Goes well with rice or Chappatis โ˜บ๏ธ It’s Friday, Have a Happy weekend everyone!!
