My daughter loves Dosas and it has been her favorite finger food since she was a little baby! Therefore, I love experimenting with different kinds of Dosas and millets are my first choice. It’s been over a year now that I have started using millets in idly, dosa, Chapatis, khichdi and also in lieu of rice. Millets provide a host of nutrients, has a sweet nutty flavour, are gluten free and are easily digestible. These ancient grain cereals are now being re- introduced as 21st Century ” Smart Food”
The agricultural fraternity including the government have been promoting the goodness of Millets for some time now . Infact, India celebrated the year 2018 as the National year of Millet.
KODO MILLET DOSA – Crispy ghee roast dosas 👆made from the fermented batter on cast iron dosa tava. Not trying to be an expert on Dosas but I am super happy with the result!
