Paneer Bhurji with fresh green Chickpeas!
Green Chickpeas/ Hara Chana/ chholia/ are fresh form of mature chickpeas. A nutritious and delicious winter vegetable, rich in proteins, vitamins and folate. Just like peas they are so versatile that you can easily use them in pulao, salad, hummus, wraps, curries or in dry vegetables. So make use of them till they are available this season.
I had initially planned to prepare paneer bhurji for the girls and green Chickpeas salad for we two, but the foggy morning changed my mind 🥶. It’s too cold to have salads, afterall.
So I simply added them to paneer bhurji 😅 Served it with parathas and salad- easy and quick lunch; ready in no time!
