Quick pic of our breakfast today 👆 Mooth chaat or Moth beans salad, one of our favourites.Can be served as a light lunch or as a side dish too. They are excellent source of protein for vegetarians. Very quick and easy to make.
Sharing the recipe below if you wish to try ! 🌿Soak mooth beans overnight or for atleast 6 hours. They become soft after soaking. Boil it in pressure cooker with minimum water and switch off the flame after one whistle. Overboiling will lead to dal like consistency. Drain the little excess water Don’t discard this water, you can use it in your cooking. It’s full of nutrients.
Add chopped cucumber, boiled potatoes, pomegranates, onions and tomatoes ( didn’t add this time) Further, add black salt, chaat masala, cumin powder and squeeze fresh lemon juice. Mix it and serve it cold. You can also add some chutneys and enjoy!! Hope you all are staying at home♥️ Take care!
