Somedays all you need is a bowl of good khichdi. Totally comforting for body & soul specially on crazy days when you are too tired with other chores.Best part is you can always experiment with different dals and you have a different version everytime! You can also replace rice with different millets! It’s Kudo Millet, Arhar/ Toor (split pigeon) & orange masoor Khichdi! No vegetables here, just tempered with ghee, jeera, hing & tomatoe puree! Some extra mirchi ka tadka on the side, achar, cucumber raita and papad to complete the meal & it’s ready within 30-40 min.
